What is Third-Party Carrier-Calculated Shipping and how to enable it?

Third-Party Carrier-Calculated Shipping (CCS) is a Shopify feature necessary to use Digiloop Pickup & Delivery's "Checkout display" integration.

The "Interactive map display" integrates to the Cart page, therefore it is not mandatory to have CCS enabled in your Shopify store.

How to get CCS?

From January 2023 Shopify does not offer CCS to stores on the Shopify Starter or Basic plans. Read more about it HERE.

Our Checkout list integration requires Basic or higher subscription in Digiloop and Carrier Calculated Shipping (CCS), a Shopify feature that enables shipping apps to display real-time delivery options at checkout. In our case, this allows your customers to choose from available pickup points.

If CCS is not currently available on your Shopify plan, or if it hasn’t been enabled yet, follow the steps below to proceed. Once CCS is active, you’ll be able to select our Checkout list integration option.


Option 1: Enable CCS via Annual Plan (No Extra Cost)

  • Log in to your store as the owner.

  • Open your Shopify billing settings.

  • Click Subscribe to switch to annual billing.

  • Once updated, contact Shopify Support to enable CCS:

  • Go to the Shopify Help Center

  • Click Chat with a human and connect with a support agent

Shopify Support will notify you once CCS is enabled. After that, return to the Digiloop app and head over to the Integration and Design tab where you can enable our "Checkout list integration" option.

Option 2: Enable CCS on Monthly Plan (for a set fee)

  • Log in to your store as the owner.

  • Go to the Shopify Help Center.

  • Click Chat with a human and connect with a support agent.

    You can use this message:

    Hi, I understand that Carrier-Calculated Shipping can be added for a fee for my Shopify monthly plan. Could you please enable this feature for my store: example.myshopify.com? Thanks in advance!


Shopify Support will confirm once CCS has been enabled. Then, return to the Digiloop app and head over to the Integration and Design tab where you can enable our "Checkout list integration" option.
