Digiloop Pickup & Delivery - OVERVIEW

In this detailed guide, we show you how to set up and use our application from installing to handing over your first order to your Shipping Provider.

1. Choose one or more Shipping Providers

The first step of setting up the Digiloop Pickup & Delivery app is to choose the shipping providers you work with.

2. Set up the Shipping Providers

The next step is to set up your Shipping Providers. Use the select box next to the ones you wish to work with. A drop-down menu will appear where you need to provide the necessary details to finish setting them up with your store.

3. Set up Shipping Zones and Rates

In this section, you will choose which providers are assigned to your Shipping Zones as well as connect them to their respective Shipping Rates.

a. Shipping zones

Select one or more shipping providers at the shipping zone(s) based on the way you want to provide shipping to your customers. Only those providers will appear to your customers that you select here.

The Shipping Zones are read from your store's admin. If you do not see the Shipping Zone in this menu, please check out your current Shipping Zones in Shopify.

b. Shipping Rates

Select which Shipping Rates you wish to assign to the different Shipping Providers. You could either choose from your already existing Shipping Rates or click on Add new rate to set up a new flat rate for the chosen provider.

c. Payment Mapping

Choose which Shopify payment method you want to display on the Checkout page for each shipping method. Leave the field blank to display every payment method at the chosen shipping rate (default).

Once all is set up, click on Save and you will be taken to the next steps.

4. Integration and design

In this section, you will choose the way you wish to implement your shipping providers to your online store then set up the design where applicable. Currently, there are 2 ways to choose from.

Interactive map display

Apply this way of integration to display a map on the Cart page. This map contains all the available pickup points your shipping provider(s) offer. Customers can pick the pickup point they like.

Choosing this option will take you to the Design page where you can set up how you wish your Map to look like.

You can always click on Preview Map to see how it would look like on your site based on the current settings.

Which design details can be changed?

Cart design menu

  • Button

    • Choose the shape of the button that will be displayed for the pickup points on the Cart page.

  • Button layout

    • Decide on the structure. Pick how you want to display the section for the pickup points button on the Cart page.

    • Enable in-store/personal pickup for your customers.

  • Colors

    • Decide on the design of the button and the section that belongs to it on the Cart page.

    • The followings can be changed on the Cart design:

      • Text color

      • Text color on button

      • Button color

      • Background color

      • Highlight color

      • Stroke color

Map Design menu

  • Button

    • Choose the shape of the button that will be displayed on the Map view.

  • Map style

    • Choose the style of the map.

      • Colored

      • Grayscale

  • Pin style

    • Choose the style of the pin that will appear on the map.

  • Colors and text

    • Set up the colors and font for your map design.

    • The followings can be changed on the Map Design:

      • Font

      • Primary color

      • Secondary color

      • Text color on button

Translation menu

Localize the default option by giving the Hungarian translation of the different options.

Once you have set up your design, click on Apply to finish saving your changes.

Please keep in mind that using the map display, it is imperative to disable the "Buy it now", "Quick Buy", "Express Checkout" etc. buttons in your store's theme. These buttons can be found on the product pages and in the cart in some cases.

Checkout display

Apply this way of integration to display your shipping provider(s) in Checkout. Those 5 pickup points will be displayed that are the closest to the address the customer added. Only the given options can be selected by them.

Please note that in order to use this feature, you need to have the Shopify CCS feature added to your Shopify subscription plan.

To activate the third-party carrier-calculated shipping (CCS), your store needs to be on the Advanced or Plus plan. If you're on the Shopify plan, then you can add this feature for a monthly fee or switch from monthly to yearly billing. For more information, contact Shopify Support.

5. Choose a subscription

After finishing with all the necessary settings, review them carefully then choose a plan to get the app up and running in your store.

Make sure to choose the respective plan based on your needs, number of monthly orders and the number of shipping providers.

It is highly advisable to choose a yearly plan to save on the monthly costs as we provide considerable discounts from our annual plans.

Once subscribed, you will be taken to your Dashboard.

3. DASHBOARD AND MENU OVERVIEW

Dashboard

This menu is accessible by clicking on the "Digiloop Pickup" app name in your store admin
You can see an overview of your orders and app status here.

  • App status

    • Make sure to activate the app to have it up and running in your store.

  • Order overview

    • Check our the orders that were fulfilled or the ones awaiting fulfillment.

    • Click on View orders to be taken to the Orders menu of our app.

  • Fulfilled order limit by month

    • Confirm how many orders you had in this month and check your orders' limit

    • If you are near the monthly limit, consider subscribing to a higher plan by clicking on Change Plan

Orders

You can check all your orders here that have been placed by using our application's solutions.

In the upper left corner of the page, you have the ability to choose which shipping provider's orders you wish to see.

Additionally, you can set up different filters eg:. show only the "Unfulfilled" orders.

Here, you can do the followings:

  • Create Shiping Labels

  • Print Shipping Labels

  • Close shipments

    • This option is available only for MPL orders.

    • If you are working with MPL as the Shipping Provider, make sure to close the shipments by using the Action button at the order or by using the bulk actions in the app's Orders menu.

  • Print Shipping notes

    • This option is available only for MPL orders.

    • If you are working with MPL as the Shipping Provider, make sure to print the shipping notes by using the Action button at the order or by using the bulk actions in the app's Orders menu and have it at hand when handing over your parcels.

By clicking on an order number, the order's detailed view will be opened. Here, you can check all details as well as create a Shipping Label for the order by clicking on Actions -> Create Shipping Label.

If you wish to create shipping labels for multiple orders, you just have to use the checkbox next to the orders on the Orders page and click on Create shipping labels in bulk.

Creating shipping labels will forward the order request(s) to the shipping provider and add the respective tracking information to the orders along with fulfilling the order(s).

Integration and design
