Cash on Delivery (COD) is one of the options you can set up in the Pickupbird app to enable the cash on delivery payment method for specific shipping rates.
Step 1.
Create a new shipping rate in Shopify's Shipping and Delivery for your general profile.
Step 2.
Add the new shipping rate to the Pickupbird app in Shipping zones and rates tab.
Step 3.
Go to the Payment settings menu in the Pickupbird app and assign the cash on delivery shipping rate to the relevant provider.
In the payment customization tab you will see that the payment method has been successfully added to the shipping rate.
Important: If you would like to set up cash on delivery with an extra handling fee you will have to make the new shipping rate with the extra handling fee price added to it and it is also imperative tha you include the extra price in the name of the shipping fee.
